Key responsibilities include conducting secondary coder reviews on returned accounts, providing coder education and guidance for improved coding accuracy, and supporting the coding department with inquiries and reviews. You will also assist with DNFC management goals and stay up to date with industry standards through coding education and maintaining your credentials. This position is 100% remote!

Qualifications include:
• Associate’s degree in HIM; Bachelor’s preferred
• Coding coordination experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of coding experience in an acute hospital setting; 5+ years preferred
• RHIT or CCS credential; RHIA and CCS preferred
